Quality education is expensive and, like many independent schools, Aleph Bet is not able to cover costs through tuition alone. The School relies heavily on voluntary, tax-deductible donations from parents, alumni, and friends. These generous annual gifts permit us to hire and retain first-rate faculty, to maintain small classes, to equip our classrooms with current technology, and to provide our students with extra-class experiences that extend and enrich their learning. Additionally, Aleph Bet is committed to providing a Jewish day school education to students whose families seek it, regardless of their financial resources, so the School maintains a generous financial assistance program.
Aleph Bet’s Development Committee oversees the annual Dinner and Auction, as well as affinity programs, planned giving, vehicle donations, and other financial contributions. Each year, the Development Committee conducts an annual fund campaign to solicit support for its programs and its students. Whether large or small, every gift contributes to the School’s financial success and thus to the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of its students. The simplest way to make a donation is to write a check, but the School can also accept contributions of appreciated securities or of personal or real property. Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of loved ones.
